Getting there

From the Barcelona Airport

The Barcelona Airport (BARCELONA EL PRAT) is located 15 km outside of the city. There are three ways to reach the hotel from the airport: you can take a taxi to the hotel, using the AEROBUS service, or on the underground:

By taxi: The price for this service is some 35-40 € and the journey (always depending on traffic) is around 35 minutes.

On the Aerobus: There is also a bus service from the airport called AEROBUS that travels between the airport and the city every 15 minutes. Tickets cost 6 euros per person. These buses depart from every terminal and drive into the city, making several stops once in Barcelona. If you use this service, get off at the last stop, which is the centrally-located PLAZA CATALUNYA. After there, you can now take a taxi (although you are already close to the hotel) or simply take the Metro in Plaza Catalunya (the green Line 3 in the direction of ‘Trinitat Nova’ and get off at the FONTANA stop (there are only 3 stops between Plaza Catalunya and Fontana).
The FONTANA station is 100 metres from the hotel. The name of our street is BRETÓN DE LOS HERREROS and it is across from the station. Once you are on this street, you will see the flags waving on the hotel façade (the street is very short).

On the train: Another option is to take the airport train that will take you to the station in Passeo de Gràcia. From here, switch to the Metro line 3 (green) and take it to the FONTANA station (2 stops).

There is a bus service running in coordination with the arrival of flights into Girona that will take you into Barcelona. They make one stop at the BARCELONA-NORD Bus Terminal.
The price is around 15 € per person and the journey takes about 1h 30 min.
After you reach the bus terminal, you can take a taxi or the Metro (it is very close) from the ARC DE TRIOMF station, which is the red Line 1. In PLAZA CATALUNYA, switch to the green line 3 and go to the FONTANA station.

The BARCELONA-SANTS train station is located in the city about 3 km from the hotel.

From here, you can take a taxi (the trip will cost between 8-12 €) or take the Metro LINE 3 (green) to the FONTANA station.

By car

If you have a car, reaching the hotel is very easy.

Drive until reaching the crossroads of Av. DIAGONAL and PASEO DE GRACIA. It is a roundabout with an obelisk in the middle that is called PLAZA JOAN CARLES I.

After you see this Plaza, go up Paseo de Gracia (direction mountains). After about 100 m, the road narrows and turns into the street GRAN DE GRÀCIA. Continue up this road until you see a Metro station on the right (red and white sign with an ‘M’ in the middle), which is the well-known FONTANA station. Directly across from the station, take a left onto the street called BRETÓN DE LOS HERREROS. At the end (the street is very short), you will recognise the hotel by the flags flying out front and the façade shown in the picture.
